Meet Our Team

Heidi has been a practicing massage therapist since 2009 graduating from Sir. Sandford Fleming College in Peterborough, ON. She is currently in her fifth and final year of studying manual Osteopathy at the Canadian College of Osteopathy (CCO Toronto). She has been working and treating clients in Lindsay since 2014 previously at Point of Balance Physiotherapy. If it weren't for Point of Balance and Kim Dupuis, Heidi wouldn't be where she is today in her pursuit in manual osteopathy. Heidi currently resides in Lindsay, Ontario with her husband and two children that keep her busy when she isn't treating clients or continuing education!

Hi there! I'm Mariah, a small-town girl raised in Kawartha Lakes. Graduating from Fleming College in 2017, I dove into Massage Therapy and expanded my skills with courses in cupping, reflexology, and TMJ therapy. Now, I'm embarking on a new adventure as a Realtor, bringing my caring nature to the world of real estate. When I'm not with clients or my two amazing boys, you'll find me enjoying the great outdoors – fishing, hunting, and hiking, alongside my beloved furry companions.

Pain Relief

Massage therapy can effectively alleviate various types of pain, including chronic pain conditions like lower back pain or fibromyalgia, as well as acute muscle soreness from sports or physical activity. By targeting specific muscle groups and applying appropriate pressure, massage can release tension and improve circulation, leading to pain relief and enhanced mobility.

Improved Circulation and Healing

The manipulation of soft tissues during massage therapy promotes better blood flow throughout the body. This increased circulation helps deliver oxygen and nutrients to cells and tissues while facilitating the removal of metabolic waste products. As a result, massage therapy can accelerate the healing process for injuries, reduce inflammation, and enhance overall tissue health.

Stress Reduction

Massage therapy is renowned for its ability to alleviate stress and promote relaxation. Through techniques such as Swedish massage or deep tissue massage, it helps to reduce cortisol levels and induce a state of calmness, benefiting both physical and mental well-being.
