Lindsay Wellness Hub
12+ YEARS EXPERIENCE
YOUNITY WELLNESS
At our massage therapy and wellness clinic, we are dedicated to providing full-circle care for families, with a special focus on maternity and infant well-being. Our mission is to support families through every stage of life’s journey, offering nurturing and expert care to promote health and harmony from pregnancy through infancy and beyond.
Our Founder's Story
After nearly a decade of practising massage therapy, Heidi felt inspired—thanks to the encouragement of her mentor, Kim Dupuis—to take the next step in her journey. In 2018, she returned to school to study manual osteopathy. The path wasn’t without its challenges, but in 2024 she proudly graduated, right after opening the doors to Younity Wellness.
For Heidi, creating Younity Wellness was the natural progression of her career—bringing together her passion for hands-on care with a vision of full-circle family wellness. Today, she continues to offer massage therapy while steadily expanding her osteopathy practice, balancing her time so she can focus on both modalities.
Her dream is to see Younity Wellness grow into a thriving hub where families of all ages feel supported, connected, and cared for.

MARIAH
Hi there! I’m Mariah, a small-town girl raised in Kawartha Lakes. Graduating from Fleming College in 2017, I dove into Massage Therapy and expanded my skills with courses in cupping, reflexology, and TMJ therapy. Now, I’m embarking on a new adventure as a Realtor, bringing my caring nature to the world of real estate. When I’m not with clients or my two amazing boys, you’ll find me enjoying the great outdoors – fishing, hunting, and hiking, alongside my beloved furry companions.

LORI
Lori was first introduced to yoga over 20 years ago while living in North Vancouver. The practice was so incredibly different, and it piqued her curiosity. Yoga offered relaxation and strength strategies that appealed to Lori, as a new mom. It was also a kind and caring community.
Returning to the Lindsay area, Lori worked as a school teacher and attended yoga classes regularly, exploring a wide variety of yoga styles. Two years ago, Lori combined her two loves, teaching and yoga, and took the Registered Yoga Teacher course with The Yoga Loft. This summer, she completed her Adaptive Yoga Certification, expanding her knowledge to accommodate diverse needs.
In 2024, Lori began teaching Gentle Hatha at Younity Wellness. Her son and daughter are grown up, and she lives in the Lindsay area with her husband. When she isn’t teaching school or yoga, she is hiking, camping, downhill skiing, or horseback riding.
ADVANTAGES OF MASSAGE THERAPY FOR EVERYONE
Pain Relief
Massage therapy can effectively alleviate various types of pain, including chronic pain conditions like lower back pain or fibromyalgia, as well as acute muscle soreness from sports or physical activity. By targeting specific muscle groups and applying appropriate pressure, massage can release tension and improve circulation, leading to pain relief and enhanced mobility.
Improved Circulation and Healing
The manipulation of soft tissues during massage therapy promotes better blood flow throughout the body. This increased circulation helps deliver oxygen and nutrients to cells and tissues while facilitating the removal of metabolic waste products. As a result, massage therapy can accelerate the healing process for injuries, reduce inflammation, and enhance overall tissue health.
Stress Reduction
Massage therapy is renowned for its ability to alleviate stress and promote relaxation. Through techniques such as Swedish massage or deep tissue massage, it helps to reduce cortisol levels and induce a state of calmness, benefiting both physical and mental well-being.
